Born out of love
In 1997, when Mr. Wei needed to find a good quality motorized tricycle for his farm, he discovered a problem.
Limited options, outdated freight capacity, insufficient power, and mostly beyond his budget.
Unwilling to give up hope, he decided to do it himself.
The Putian motor tricycle was born.
The aim was simple
Reliable, beautiful tricycles at affordable prices.
Putian quickly built an admirable reputation. Not just for the quality of the tricycles, but also for the care and understanding that each sale brings.
By the fall of 2002, Putian was one of China’s leading suppliers of motor tricycles.
Tough decisions
The business is booming, and countless families are healthy. Which one should I choose?
In 2003, this problem has been plaguing Mr. Wei, Putian motor tricycle will cause a lot of carbon emissions, damage the environment, affecting the health of every family.
Mr. Wei abandoned the motor tricycle market and started developing a new environmentally friendly means of transportation to meet the needs of poor families.
A NEW BEGINNING
In the autumn of 2003, Mr. Wei built the first electric tricycle prototype.
A few months later, he invested all his money creating the first electric tricycle production line.
By the winter of 2004, Putian electric tricycle had achieved mass production, and the first electric tricycle experience center had been opened in Renqiu City, Hebei Province.

Today, Putian electric tricycle is the pioneer of electric tricycle technology in China.
